iMAL (interactive Media Art Laboratory), an association created in 1999 in Brussels, aims to stimulate the process of creative appropriation of the New Technologies. At the end of 2007, iMAL opened its new premises, a Centre of Digital Cultures and Technologies right in the heart of Brussels. At the crossroads of artistic, scientific and industrial innovations, this 600 m2 space is dedicated to the newly emerging artistic, practical and cultural forms and industrial innovations coming into being from the convergence between IT, telecommunications, networks and media.
