Whether he works on paper, canvas or computer, the images of François Zajéga revolve around the thought of space. His vocabulary is made out of lines, scars, stains, scratches and knocks. Simple shapes and accumulation are his main working directions
Hum is an drawing and musical interface. Interactivity enables the dialogue between artwork and people. By the movement, the visitor transforms a shape that follows him feeds and learns from these movements. The purpose is to increase the energy released by visitors by making him behaving in a unusual way. The visitor is thus sometimes a maker, sometimes a spectator of HUM. Wether he works on paper, canvas or computer, the images of François Zajéga revolve around the thought of space. His vocabulary is made out of lines, scars, stains, scratches and knocks. Simple shapes and accumulation are his main working directions. This artwork has been done in collaboration with Jean-Julien Filatriau, doctor in Applied Sciences at UCL
